Certain migrants or individuals who previously requested asylum envision returning to their country of origin. This may happen after a few years in exile or after a long stay in Belgium. Caritas International would like to assist them in preparing for their departure as well as during their reintegration back into the society of their country of origin.
Each person who wishes to return to their country of origin after a stay in Belgium can ask for support for their return. Caritas' social services can advise you on your existing options.

We maintain close contact with partners in the return country and offer a personal follow-up that is mindful of individual vulnerabilities.
