Behind the official term "unaccompanied foreign minors (UAM)" are young people, minors of age. Far from their country of origin and without parents, they arrived alone in Belgium, after a long and difficult migratory journey. Whether it is through our team of tutors, in their transition to autonomy, or within our residential structure in Liege, Caritas is at their side. Support with a common thread: to look after the best interest of the child and to seek, with and for them, sustainable solutions, in Belgium or elsewhere.
