Caritas International is strongly concerned about the protection of your personal data. We also want to be transparent in its processing. In our aim to achieve complete transparency, we established 12 privacy policies concerning the context in which the data has been collected. You can read all of them below. We do everything in our power in order for you to feel safe during your visit to our website and while contacting our team.

In accordance with the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in regard to personal data and the European General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016, all internet users who have directly or indirectly provided nominative information, have the following rights concerning their personal data:

  • The right to information and access: You may ask for any nominative information that is related you.
  • The right to adjustments: You may ask to adjust any nominative information that is related to you. You may also correct any possible inaccuracies or add any missing data.
  • The right to erase (“the right to forget”): You may ask for your personal data to be completely erased from our database.
  • The right to limit processing of your personal data: You may fight against your nominative information being used.
  • The right to ask for a data transmission: You may receive any personal data related to you in an electronic, up-to-date and well-structured form.
  • The right to oppose: You may oppose to acts of prospecting, direct marketing and profiling as well.
