Indonesia is comprised of 13,466 islands, of which 6,000 are inhabited. It is the largest archipelago in the world. Our presence in Indonesia dates back to 2004 after the destruction left by the tsunami. Since then, we have funded rehabilitation and development projects, particularly in Muaumere, Flores (to the north-west of Australia). Indonesia is extremely vulnerable to natural disasters. Following the earthquakes and tsunami on 28 September 2018, we offered emergency aid to the victims.
