Since the start of the Russian Invasion in Ukraine, Caritas International has been providing help in Belgium and abroad to the victims of the war.
Our Helpdesk Ukraine has been giving individual socio-legal advice to displaced persons from Ukraine here in Belgium for almost two years.
An important group of people arriving here are children. Many of them are staying in the country without parents. They mainly stay with family or friends.
This situation is not without risks and many things are unclear.
Therefore, Caritas International Belgium, in cooperation with the UNHCR, is organising a series of information sessions for displaced children from Ukraine and their caretakers.
We will discuss topics such as:
– children arrive in Belgium alone?
– arrive with brothers, sisters, family members or other persons?
– parents have to return to Ukraine or another country, but decide to leave their children in Belgium…
- Who can help with administrative procedures or in crisis situations?
Come to our training and learn the rules and procedures to follow in Belgium, as well as many useful contacts!
