About
Caritas International opposes the detention of foreigners due to migration reasons. However, since this is common practise in Belgium, it is essential that our organisation can visit closed centres. The purpose of visiting them on a regular basis is to inform migrants of their situation and their rights, to break through their isolation, to provide psychosocial and legal support and to inspect their living conditions in the centres.
