Iraq :

About

An unstable political situation, attacks by the ‘Islamic State’, poverty and a large group of people searching for protection are causing uncertainty and great needs. Humanitarian assistance for displaced people, refugees and people without an income, remain a priority for our Caritas partners. Caritas Belgium still also supports a programme for a particularly vulnerable group: young mothers and infants. We provide psycho-social guidance and follow-up in nutrition and health of young children. This programme illustrates our hope for and our belief in a better future for the country.
