In Gaza, civilians are trapped. Humanitarian convoys are blocked at the borders, while airdrops fail to reach the most vulnerable families. These actions cannot be considered real humanitarian aid: they are random, unsafe, and wholly insufficient in the face of urgent needs for food, healthcare, and shelter.
And yet, essential assistance still gets through. Caritas International, through its local partner Caritas Jerusalem, continues to be active on the ground.
