About

We strongly believe it is essential that the human rights of migrants are guaranteed, regardless of their status. Therefore, Caritas International employs lawyers who provide support in the ongoing battle for better protection of human rights.

Our areas of activity: reception arrangements and the procedures to be followed by asylum seekers, family reunification, custody of unaccompanied children migrants, regularisation procedures and immigration law in closed centres.

We also work around more general issues that often have significant consequences on the refugees, such as housing, debt, social rights and discrimination.
Our lawyers advise social workers (our social service and partners of the reception service) so that they can respond to the questions posed by the target group.
